Using hashtags

You can use hashtags in Reddy chats to quickly find information or highlight key points.

Hashtag requirements:

1. Hashtags can include various languages, numbers and the underscore symbol ("_").
2. Hashtags cannot include spaces.
3. Every new hashtag must start with the "#" symbol.
4. Hashtags must end with a space, new line or ".,!?;".
5. A hashtag can contain between 3 and 64 characters, including the “#” symbol (if the hashtag is less than 3 or more than 64 characters, it will be viewed as text).

Searching by hashtag

Press a hashtag in a message to search for messages with matching hashtags in chat history. The hashtag request itself is placed in the search query input field, and the results are displayed in a column in the chat list. You can find out more about the Search function in this article.
